An Animation Classic

I was so excited to see this film added to Kanopy. I've seen it several times, and I feel like I notice more with each viewing. Mamoru Oshii's Ghost in the Shell is about a cyborg named Motoko Kusanagi trying to track down a rogue hacker, becoming entangled in thorny questions of personhood and consciousness along the way. The animation and music are stunning-- cyberpunk and science fiction fans are in for a treat.
