This lost album falls between Coltrane's revolutionary releases, "My Favorite Things" (1961) and "A Love Supreme" (1964). In the heat of their musical heights, the quartet lays down some of the most ingenious and hard-swinging tunes ever, on this record alone. No doubt one of my all-time favorites.
