Complicit

I'm not normally scared when I finish a book, but the ending to this one left me terrified.

 

Jamie Henry has already been through a lot in his life – his mother was murdered when he was a child and his sister burned down the neighbor’s barn – but he thought that was all behind him. But now Cate is out and coming for him, and Jamie has to scramble to unravel the mysteries of his past before Cate confronts him once and for all.
