Overview
A Roku is a device that plugs into a HDMI port on your TV and enables you to stream movies to your TV.
CADL Roku's enable you to access Vudu and Hoopla. The Vudu account on each Roku is loaded with CADL's digital copies of movies and shows in that genre. Please refer to the directions included with the Roku or at the link below to be sure that you are accessing the “My Vudu” section to access these movies.
Requirements
- TV must have a HDMI port
- Wireless internet is required to use a Roku. It is possible that you may not get a fast-enough connection in your area to use the Roku.
Tips and Addtional Information
- Additional channels may not be added to the Roku. Please refrain from changing any settings on the Roku, other than the Wireless Network connection.
- If the Roku will not fit into your HDMI port, you may need an HDMI extender cable. The library does not supply this cable.
- CADL will reset the Hoopla account information when the Roku is returned to the library (just in case you forget to sign-out of your Hoopla account)
- Don’t have a home wireless network? CADL also circulates Rokus with hotspots.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to start circulating LOT items again soon. See individual item pages for further details.
CADL circulates many unexpected items. Many have different loan rules. See the quick details here. Item's individual pages have further details.
