iPad Kit

Check Me Out

  • iPad - 10.2", 32GB
  • Gumdrop iPad Case
  • Lightning to USB-C Cable
  • Apple Power Adapter
  • Hotspot (Sprint Network (merging with T-Mobile))
  • Hotspot Power Supply
  • Carrying Case
  • Paper survey with info on how to access online

These iPad Kits are designed for everyone. They include a wide range of apps, productivity, education, and even some games. See the list of apps.

A hotspot is included so you can get online. Because these kits and hotspots were purchased with federal grant money, the hotspot's internet is filtered at a young adult level.

An iPad is a touchscreen tablet made by Apple. iPads run apps, which are software applications designed to run on mobile devices. A cellular hotspot uses cellular (phone) data to provide Internet access to your phone, tablet, or computer.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Between each checkout, the iPad is wiped so that it contains no memory of your information. This is for your privacy, but also means that your files will be deleted. Please ensure you save them to your selected cloud storage solution.

How to Connect Wi-Fi on an iPad

Due to COVID-19 we are only circulating:

  • Hotspots
  • Chromebook Kits
  • iPad Kits
  • Bus Passes
  • Zoo Passes

The rest of our LOT items are not circulating at this time.

Items with the location "Library of Things - temporarily not circulating" may still show as available in our catalog. This allows holds to still be placed and will enable CADL to slowly roll out items based on ease of sanitation.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to start circulating LOT items again soon. See individual item pages for further details.

CADL circulates many unexpected items. Many have different loan rules. See the quick details here. Item's individual pages have further details.
