Wilton S. Mead wrote this letter to his daughter Mildred while at a rail road conference in down town Detroit, Michigan in 1919. The letter is written on stationary from the Griswold Hotel which formerly stood at the corner of Griswold and Grand River. The site presently is occupied by the Griswold Parking Garage.
