The Polar Express

This new Christmas classic movie is based on the book originally written and illustrated by Chris Van Allsburg, author of Zathura: A Space Adventure, Jumanji and more. The Polar Express is a story about a young boy who goes on a magical train ride to the North Pole where he recieves a special gift from Santa Claus and reclaims the true spirit of Christmas.  The Polar Express won the 1986 Caldecott Medal for its spectacular illustrations.
