Get a Clue @ Your Library
Attention Super Sleuths!
You are invited to
Get a Clue @ Your Library
during Capital Area District Library's
2007 Summer Reading Program
This summer, children, teens and adults are invited to Get a Clue @ Your Library with the Capital Area District Library’s Summer Reading Program. This program encourages children and families to continue reading over the summer by offering incentives as they complete blocks of reading time.
In addition to the reading program, the 13 Capital Area District Library branches are hosting nearly 100 FREE programs ranging from magicians and live animal shows to storytellers and theatre groups.
Come on down to your local library as soon as school gets out for the summer and register for the reading program! It's easy!
How the program works:
- Children and Teens ages 0-18 can register for the reading program at their local library any time after school gets out for the summer.
- When you register, you will receive a reading record to record the minutes you spend reading.
- Each reading record has 4 different levels. When you finish a level, bring your reading record to the library to collect your prize.
- There are prizes for each level as well as a grand prize drawing that you can enter after completing all 4 levels. (Prizes may vary as supplies last). Check out some of the prizes here.
- And there is also a reading program for adults! Be sure to sign up when you bring your children into the library for your chance to win some great prizes too!
- Check out your library's events page to see the special FREE programs going on throughout the summer. Some require pre-registration, so make sure to call early!
