Jessie used to be sure where she belonged in high school. Now, as she begins her sophomore year, she is not so certain. Her two best friends have turned into ridiculous punk-wannabe clichés, and Jessie doesn’t want to join them. As she tries to discover a group of friends where she belongs, she is drawn to those she used to consider dorks. When she finds herself in the thick of a Dungeons and Dragons clique, she has to decide whether to risk her social status at school to head off into the wild nerd yonder.
