When You Dare by Lori Foster

This is the first full-length entry into Foster’s new “Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor” series which launched with the novella “Ready, Set, Jet” in the anthology The Guy Next Door, but it stands perfectly well on its own.

When You Dare features über-hunk and retrieval specialist, Dare Macintosh who rescues romantic suspense author Molly Alexander from human traffickers in Tijuana. After nursing her back to health and hearing her story, he signs on to help her find out why she was kidnapped. Great characters (including a pair of well-loved labs), humor, suspense and steamy romance make this a well-rounded pick. Fans of Foster will love this and fans of contemporary romance and romantic suspense—including Lucy Monroe (Close Quarters), Linda Howard (Cry No More), and Maya Banks (The Darkest Hour)—should all take note.
