Flash Burnout by L.K. Madigan
Blake never thought a single photo could change everything he though he know about his life.
When Blake goes downtown to snap photos for his intro to photography class, he snaps a picture of a stoned homeless woman passed out against a building. Little does he know that the woman is the mother of his friend Marissa. As Blake and Marissa search for the woman, the two of them forge a friendship despite the awfulness of the situation. Blake also faces the censure of his girlfriend for spending too much time with Marissa. Can Marissa survive finding her meth-addicted mom? And will spending time with others in such a very different situation than he is used to change Blake’s perspective and focus forever?
