Miles can’t remember taking the final shot that killed his best friend. He’s been in the Federal Witness Protection ever since, because the friend was in the Mob and Miles was selling their secrets.

Treatment by Psychiatrist Allison Vance was giving him some relief from the nightmares caused by post traumatic stress disorder. He was supposed to meet her the day she died in an explosion at her office and Miles is haunted by her request for his help.

While investigating her death, he meets two other patients being given experimental drugs for their PTSD by Allison. Someone is trying to kill all of them and shaky Miles doesn’t have much time to piece things together before all three of them end up dead.
