Garwood, Julie ~ Romance. Strong characters, good mysteries, and intriguing romance. Try Slow Burn; Heartbreaker; and Killjoy. She started writing historical romance and those are all good choices too.

Hooper, Kay ~ Adventure Suspense, Fiction. Noah Bishop/Special Victims Unit series features an FBI unit applying paranormal abilities to solve major crimes. Humour, romantic suspense and great characters. Try Stealing Shadows first.

Howard, Linda ~ Romance, Mystery, and Adventure Suspense. Humour, suspense, and a great characters mark these novels. Try: To Die For; Mr. Perfect; Cry No More; Now You See Her; among others.

Kane, Andrea ~ Romance. Exciting thrillers, with strong characters, and a great romance. Try: I’ll Be Watching You; No Way Out; or Wrong Place, Wrong Time.

Krentz, Jayne Ann ~ Romance. Humour, suspense, and a great quirky characters mark novels. Try: Light in Shadow or Falling Awake among others.

Robb, J. D. ~ Mystery. Nora’s pseudonym. Her Eve Dallas series are futuristic police procedurals and romantic suspense.  First book: Naked in Death. It helps to read these in order.

Rose, Karen ~ Romance, Adventure Suspense. Rita Winner with I’m Watching You. Good romances, and suspense.
