Free Homework Help

  • Free Homework Help @ the Downtown Lansing Library for grades K-12. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.  September 28th to December 9th.
  • Free Homework Help @ the Okemos Library for grades K-12. Mondays and Thursdays 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.  Dates vary, call 517.347.2021 for details.

  • eLibrary Elementary – For Kindergarten through Grade 6. Video, audio, books, pictures, magazines, maps, newspapers, & transcripts of tv and radio shows.
  • General OneFile – General interest news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics.
  • InfoTrac Junior – Designed for students in junior high and middle school. Access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers and reference books.
  • InfoTrac Student – Designed for high-school students. Access to a variety of indexed and full-text magazines, newspapers and reference books.
  • SIRS Discoverer – Children's database with full-text of articles, books, video, audio on all topics. Includes reading levels, teacher's help pages, and more.
  • Typing Master – Online tutorial to learn and practice typing. Includes a typing test, keyboard course, and numeric keypad course.
    Library use only
  • World Book Encyclopedia – Online version of the World Book Encyclopedia. Includes: World Book, World Book Advanced, World Book Kids and World Book Español.
