Furgason
The Furgason Motor Company was located at 301 River Street in Lansing. The officers of the company were C.E. Furgason, President and General Manager, A.B. Hays, Vice President, and Frank G. Clark.
According to the city directory the Furgason Motor Company produced Transmission Motor Units. Essentially, Furgason and Clark joined forces to produce the 1910 Clark Motor Car. The venture failed and Frank Clark went into the production of trucks, but that is another story. By 1911 Claude Furgason was a machinist at the Hull Manufacturing Company. The site at 301 River Street became the home of the Clark Power Wagon Company.
