As Mary K. Sarlow was an aspiring lyrist and music writer, the collection of Mary K. Sarlow primarily contains information pertaining to her music. There are also materials and photographs relating to genealogical study of her family. Mary also worked for the State of Michigan and there are some materials and photographs that pertaining that aspect of her life.
