20 hours a week. May include evenings or weekends
Capital Area District Library (CADL) provides library services to our local communities seven days per week. All positions will require some evening and weekend hours, including Sundays. While this position is currently assigned at the above location, CADL reserves the right to require all employees to be available for assignments at any CADL location.
Education & Experience
- Must have high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Ability to type 30 words per minute.
- Second Language speakers desired (Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, Farsi, Hmong/Lao, and Serbo-Croatian).
Nature of Work
- Under the supervision of the Circulation Head, performs a variety of circulation desk duties.
- Answers the telephone; Prepares a variety of materials including forms, envelopes, cards, receipts, and other correspondence; receives, inputs, sorts, processes, and/or counts library materials, incoming mail, patron registrations, and other applications, and/or forms.
- Assists in other areas of the library providing support when work loads dictate.
Salary
$11.08 per hour (no health benefits)
