All questions regarding this request for proposals should be emailed by 5:00 PM Monday, December 8, 2008 to Jonathan Nobach (nobachj@cadl.org). All questions with answers will be posted here by 5:00 PM Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
Q. Do you want us to quote the monitors in
widescreen?
A. No, we would like standard square monitors
Q. Can you clarify the Memory specifications in section
II.B?
A. Yes. We are looking to compare the cost of the computers having a
memory configuration of the following: 4 GB Total, (2) 2 GB modules vs.
2 GB Total, (1) 2 GB module
Q. Do you want the monitors to be DVI ONLY?
A. No. As long as the monitors have a DVI input port, they can also
have VGA as well. We do not need adjustable stands however but it would
not be a negative if the monitors did have adjustable stands.
Q. Are the dimensions you specified in section II.A set in
stone?
A No. The dimensions given were just a base line, the computers shall
be however similarly sized to the specs given. As long as the
dimensions are close, we are fine with that.
